Jack In The Pulpit

One of our unusual native wildflowers.  It grows in a shady, bog type habitat.  Colors vary.

They grow in Maine as well. I always love finding one or more when walking in the woods. Your photos display them beautifully, Paula!

I love these, Paula. We had a LOT of them on our property in Maine.

Thanks Liz. I look forward each year to when they begin blooming. They are just so unique.

Hi Gladys. These are at the local park/refuge I go to. There is quite a large patch of them and they expand every year. I spent an hour today just trying to get some good shots. I really like them too.
