Thanks Liz! I think the Indigo is still molting a bit. It looks a little rough. There were lots of younger ones today that still had lots of gray feathers. Nature's colors are amazing.

Paula, it is amazing how many different birds you are seeing. I keep wondering if they are really around me too and I just don't see them.

Gladys, I am sure they are. They can hide in plain sight. I bird first by sound; when I hear them, I start looking.

Beautiful! Did these guys have mates nearby? The male Blue Grosbeak is one of my favorite birds!

I did see a female Blue Grosbeak and tried to get a shot of her but no luck. I do love the coloration of these birds. There were lots of young Indigo Buntings I suspect are first year birds as they still did not have full adult coloration.
