So pretty, Paula. I don't think I have seen any waxwings since I left Maine. I love watching them when a bunch of them get into a tree with berries. Very entertaining.

Thanks Liz. They are one of my favorites also. They can get such a quizzical look about them with their mask and top notch feathers standing erect.

Thanks Gladys. My friend and I were participating in the eagle count at Jordan Lake yesterday. During a down period, a large flock came in and swarmed a tree with some berries. They are indeed fun to watch when they swarm in.
